Williams FM T55CD-00 with Dante - FM and Wi-Fi Transmitter for ADA or Translation

  • $1,550.00

The FM T55CD is designed to support listeners who want to use their own smartphones and headphones for a more discreet and sanitary assistive listening experience, as well as those who want a more traditional assistive listening system with an FM receiver and headset.  Today's environment makes using one's own device very appealing, and venues who provide this option may see an increase in hearing impaired patrons, and a decrease in the number of assistive listening receivers borrowed during an event.  Fewer devices borrowed at an event translates to cost savings on sanitization and maintenance.

Venues no longer need to choose between providing FM or Wi-Fi assistive listening systems.  The FM T55CD supports both the new iOS and Android WaveCAST Apps - in addition to all of the current FM receivers operating on the 72-76 MHz bandwidth.

The FM T55CD integrates professional WaveCAST Wi-Fi audio server technology into a Williams Sound FM assistive listening system.  The FM antenna is built in, and an ethernet port allows the system to be connected to the venue's Wi-Fi network.  Patrons can now listen with either an FM receiver or with their own smartphone (via the free WaveCAST Listening App).  Along with this flexibility comes excellent audio quality, as the FM+ is built on a professional digital audio (DSP) platform.

The FM+ uses the WaveCAST app to provide an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface. It is available in iOS or Android.  Listeners easily select channel and volume level once their personal device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.  The app does not work on FM Broadcasts.

Most settings can be changed via the front panel interface, or the hosted web interface.  A remote programming guide is available upon request.

Audio Inputs are:  (1x) Combination 3-pin XLR, 1/4" (TRS) jack for balanced or unbalanced line level, or balanced or unbalanced microphone with selectable phantom power.

Note: The FM + connects to the venue's Wi-Fi Network.  It does not provide a network on its own.
